Training is available for all ages at different times and venues across the City of Toowoomba. Venues include Newtown Park, Queens Park, Kearney's Spring and the OQuinn St Athletics Facility.

Adult Training and Running Analysis Sessions

Many runners are plagued by inefficient running technique, poor strength and posture. We analyse your gait and develop strength and conditioning activities to help correct these issues to make your running technique more efficient, comfortable and above all faster.

 

Early morning sessions are available or alternative afternoon sessions can be accessed. The venue for these sessions are:

Tuesday: 5.30 -6.30am - Newtown Park (Pottinger St. Oval)        

Thursday: 5.30 -6.30am - Captain Cook Reserve (meet on the oval)

 

 

 

Junior Functional Movement Training

 

Junior athlete's from ages 8-10 engage in a functional movement activty program covering all components of fitness to establish a well rounded base from which they can catapult themselves into a variety of sporting activitities.

 

Sessions are conducted from 3.30pm - 4.30pm Monday and Wednesday

 

Mondays are always at Newtown Park whilst Wednesday's vary and you should contact us to confirm at different time of the year.

Senior Squad and Event Specific Training

Athletes aged 15years+ are engaged in Event Specific training that caters for the specific needs of their prefererred events or event groups and is tailored for their particular physical characteristics. Venues vary please contact for details.

 

Monday - Flexibility, Endurance, Speed, Agility and Power 

Wednesday - Endurance, Speed, Agility and Power 

Friday - Flexibility, Endurance, Speed, Agility and Power 

Training

Intermediate Functional Movement Training and Athletic Development

 

Junior athlete's from ages 11-14 engage in a functional movement activty program covering all components of fitness to establish a well rounded base from which they can catapult themselves into a variety of sporting activitities. More specific training direction is given for athletes with more specific physical attributes catered for as the Athlete grows and develops. The introduction of specific weights  or resistance training is introduced to our 14 year old athletes at this time

 

Sessions are conducted from 4.00pm - 5.30pm Monday, Wednesday and Friday pending daylight availability in Winter months. Mondays are always at Newtown Park whilst Wednesday's, and Friday's vary. Please contact us to confirm at different times of the year.
